TRAVELER'S notebook is the hand-crafted refillable notebook created by TRAVELER'S COMPANY. Starting in Japan, the notebook gained a cult following around the world for its unique and simple design, perfect for inspiring the nomadic mind.
Each cover is handmade in Chiang Mai, using quality unprocessed leather, tin, and elastic bindings to bring each notebook together. Not only are the notebooks gorgeously designed, the TRAVELER'S notebook leather ages and becomes better with each use. So the more you travel, the more unique and personal your notebook becomes, making it the perfect counter notebook to the fast-paced consumerist lifestyle one sees on a daily basis.
Tokyo Edition
TRAVELER'S notebook “Tokyo Edition” and its customised items are designed with a focus on Tokyo, where TRAVELER'S COMPANY is based.
Walk through the downtown area dotted with sumo stables, take a bath at bath houses called “sento” when you get tired, and drink a glass of “chuhai” (a Japanese liquor with soda), at an “Izakaya” (a Japanese pub). Cross the river where houseboats float by and you will be greeted by a temple with a history of over 1,000 years. If you get off at a station on the Yamanote line or subway, you will see a cityscape of skyscrapers, a scramble crossing filled with people, and the iconic tower rising like a symbol of the city. Sushi, ramen, “anmitsu” (a kind of Japanese dessert), “cream soda” (melon soda float), and “taiyaki” (a fish shaped cake with filling inside). They are all part of Tokyo’s everyday life and, at the same time, they are Tokyo’s sights and specialties that appeal to travellers as well.
